How to access cPanel
cPanel is the control panel used to manage hosting features such as files, email accounts, databases, domains and backups. Most Host Luma customers will not need to use cPanel often because the platform is managed, but it is available when you need direct hosting access.
Before you start
You will need your cPanel username and password. These details are usually provided in your order email or by Host Luma support.
For security, never share your cPanel password with anyone other than official Host Luma support.
Step 1: Open the cPanel login page
Go to cPanel Login in your browser.
Step 2: Enter your login details
Enter your cPanel username and password, then click Log in.
Step 3: Use the correct area
Use File Manager if you need to view website files.
Use Email Accounts if you need to manage domain email mailboxes.
Use Domains or Zone Editor only if you understand DNS changes, or after speaking to support.
Use JetBackup if backup access is enabled for your account.
What not to change without support
Do not delete files from public_html unless you are certain what they are.
Do not edit DNS records unless you know the correct value.
Do not remove databases or database users.
Do not change PHP versions or extensions unless Host Luma support recommends it.
Important notes
If you cannot log in, use the password reset option if available or contact Host Luma support. Failed login attempts may be blocked by security systems.
