These terms govern your use of HostLuma's services: Managed WordPress Hosting, AI App Hosting, and domain registration, purchased through hostluma.co.uk (the "Portal"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
If anything here conflicts with a signed order form or enterprise agreement between you and HostLuma, that agreement takes priority.
There's no password on a HostLuma account. You sign in by requesting a one-time link sent to your email address, so keeping that inbox secure is keeping your account secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account, and for telling us promptly at support@hostluma.co.uk if you believe it's been accessed without authorisation.
Hosting for WordPress sites, provisioned automatically on order, with isolated per-account environments, automated TLS, and included backups via JetBackup.
Hosting for applications deployed from a GitHub repository you connect. Each plan (e.g. our starter tier) comes with defined resource and feature limits — see your plan details in the Portal and our Acceptable Use Policy. Preview and production traffic for AI-hosted apps is served through our CDN provider, Bunny.net.
Domains are registered and renewed through our registrar partner, Openprovider, subject to that registry's own rules (which we don't control). You're responsible for keeping registrant contact details accurate and for renewing before expiry — we send renewal reminders, but a missed renewal can result in loss of the domain.
Payments are processed by Stripe via hosted Stripe Checkout — we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are shown in GBP.
If a payment fails, we'll attempt to notify you and allow a grace period to update your payment method before any restriction is applied. We do not delete your account or content for a failed payment — see Section 4.
If you breach these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or fail to pay after the grace period above, we may suspend your account. Suspension restricts access to the affected service; it does not delete your files, database, or hosted content. We do this deliberately, so that a payment issue or a policy dispute doesn't cause irreversible data loss while it's being resolved.
We'll aim to tell you why an account was suspended and what's needed to restore it. Full account and data deletion only happens following an explicit closure/deletion request from you, or after an extended, clearly-communicated period of unresolved non-payment.
You may close your account and request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@hostluma.co.uk, subject to records we're legally required to retain (see our Privacy Policy).
You agree to use HostLuma's services in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension as described above, or in serious/repeated cases, termination.
We aim to keep services available and performant but don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Scheduled maintenance will, where practical, be communicated in advance.
If our processing of personal data on your behalf as part of the service falls within UK GDPR (for example, personal data of your own site's visitors, stored in your WordPress database), our Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that can't legally be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity, except as set out in our Data Processing Agreement regarding personal data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email or Portal notice before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
