What happens if your website breaks
If your website breaks, the right response depends on what changed, what error appears and whether a restore is needed.
Step 1: Stay calm and note the error
Write down the exact error message or take a screenshot. This helps support diagnose the issue faster.
Step 2: Think about recent changes
Was a plugin updated?
Was a theme changed?
Was custom code added?
Was DNS changed?
Was a page edited?
Was a payment, form or email plugin changed?
Step 3: Contact Host Luma support
Send the domain name, screenshot, error message and what changed before the issue started.
Step 4: Troubleshooting begins
Support may check server logs, plugin behaviour, caching, DNS, malware warnings or resource issues.
Step 5: Restore if needed
If the safest solution is rollback, Host Luma can review available backups and restore the right part of the website.
After the fix
Test key pages, contact forms, checkout pages and WordPress admin access.
Important notes
Do not repeatedly install random fix plugins when a site is broken. This can make the problem worse and harder to diagnose.
