How to change your hosting plan

If your website grows or needs more resources, you may want to upgrade your Host Luma hosting plan.

When to upgrade

Your website receives more traffic.

You need more resources.

You are running a more demanding WordPress site.

You want a higher-tier managed hosting package.

Step 1: Contact support

Send Host Luma support your domain name and the plan you want to move to.

Step 2: Review the recommendation

Support can confirm whether an upgrade is needed and which plan is suitable.

Step 3: Billing is adjusted

If you proceed, billing changes may be handled through Stripe or by issuing the correct subscription update.

Step 4: Hosting resources are updated

Once billing and plan changes are confirmed, your hosting allocation can be adjusted.

Downgrades

Downgrades may not always be suitable if your website uses more resources than the lower plan allows.

Important notes

Do not guess which plan is needed. Ask support if the reason is speed, traffic, storage, WooCommerce or plugin performance.
